Here are a few parts of your house that you can clean using white vinegar:
Dishwasher – On a monthly basis, pour a cup of vinegar into the reservoir of your dishwasher and run an empty cycle. This will disinfect the interior and remove soap buildup and odors.
Glassware – Even after you run them through the dishwasher, your drinking vessel may still be sporting that cloudy look. By soaking a towel in vinegar and wrapping it around the glass and then rinsing it off with hot water, you can make it sparkle and shine.
Showerheads – You can soak this bathroom necessity in a plastic baggie of vinegar overnight to break down mineral deposits that build up over time. Just fill the bag with the acidic liquid and fasten it to the showerhead using rubber bands.
In addition to natural solutions such as baking soda and vinegar, you'll need some special cleaning products to ensure that each part of your home is clean and clear of dust, mold, pet dander, pollen and other common debris that can accumulate and irritate allergy and asthma sufferers.
