6 ways to get a good night's rest during allergy season: Part 2

Do allergies keep you up at night during the spring? You're not alone.

Do you have a difficult time sleeping during the spring because you suffer from allergies? You're not alone. Millions of others also suffer from hay fever, dust and pet dander allergies. In the final part of our two-part series, we explore three more tips to help you sleep better at night during allergy season.

1. Give your house a cleaning
Spring is here, which means you're likely gearing up for spring cleaning. Along with getting rid of old belongings, make sure you also give your home a thorough cleansing. This means wiping away as much dust and dirt as possible and keeping the windows closed to prevent further particles (such as allergens) from entering. If you want an allergy-free home so you can sleep better at night, spring cleaning is the first step in doing so.

2. Change your sheets
Either clean the sheets often to dispose of dust and allergies or switch to allergy-resistant ones. You can purchase allergy bedding right through Allergy Be Gone. Our assortment of products include washable pillows, comforter covers and interliners and pillow, mattress and box spring encasings.

3. Don't let the dog in the bed
Many people don't mind having their dogs sleep on their beds. The problem is that dogs often carry dust, dirt and allergens with them, and they don't bathe nearly as much as people. Because dogs can drag these particles into bed, they can be disruptive to a good night's sleep for allergy sufferers. As much as it might pain you to do this, purchase separate bedding for your dog and have them either sleep on the floor or in a separate room.
